After hearing the mission of MERCY HOUSE at our Clara Swain Circle, we were inspired to attempt to furnish one of their six recently secured apartments to provide housing and foster the independence of homeless and at-risk families. WE REALLY NEED THE HELP OF THE ENTIRE CONGREGATION TO FIND THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Beds-Dressers-Kitchen Table/4 Chairs-Microwave-Couch-Arm Chair-Pots/Pans-Assorted Glasses-Kitchen Linens-Silverware/Utensils-End Tables-Kitchen Trash Can-Shower Curtain/Rings-Sheets-Comforter/Bedspread-Blankets-Pillows-Toaster-Set of Dishes-Towels/Washcloths
Perhaps you or someone you know is downsizing or cleaning house and has unused furniture. Let them know of the need at MERCY HOUSE. Call Jean Hanson at 636-7757 or Eileen Royal at 546-7659 to arrange pickup. Thank you for your help! Together we can get this done!

Palms and an
Easter Egg Hunt!
Sunday, March 28
Children and Youth of all ages
will be included.
Palm Sunday, March 28 is a day of celebration that begins with the waving of palms at the
9:30 a.m. service.
Children need to arrive at 9:15 a.m. and go to their Sunday School classrooms to line up and receive palms and instructions for the service.
Children and youth will sing the beginning anthem
(He Isthe King of Kings and Hosanna), and then return to their classrooms for Sunday School, an Easter Egg Hunt, and a special snack/treat.
Due to the extra activities, Sunday School time will be extended, and will end with the waving of palms again at the 10:45 a.m. service.
(We do a different Easter Egg Hunt for each age group, so the extra time is needed to allow time for each group to complete all the activities.)
We will recess together from the service, and children will be dismissed from their classrooms.
(That way, treats received can be collected before leaving!)
Come be a part of the
Celebration of Palm Sunday!!!
